working principle
Working principle of precision portable pH analyzer TP210
- A precision portable pH meter Laboratory water quality analyzer , precision portable pH analyzer adopts potentiometric analysis method, mainly composed of two parts: measuring battery and high resistance millivoltmeter (or ion meter). The primary battery consists of measuring electrode (indicating electrode), reference electrode and measured liquid.
- The electrode potential of the reference electrode does not change with the concentration of the solution being measured. It can be seen that the function of the primary cell is to convert chemical quantities that are difficult to measure directly (ion activity) into electrical quantities that are easy to measure (measuring the electromotive force of the cell).

- ●Precautions
1. The sensitive glass bulb at the front end of the precision portable pH analyzer electrode cannot come into contact with hard objects. Any damage and scratches will make the electrode ineffective.
2. Before measurement, the electrode should be cleaned with water sample 2-3 times to ensure measurement accuracy. After measurement, wash the electrode with pure water and soak it in 3mol/L KCl solution to keep the glass bulb moist and the liquid junction unobstructed.
3. After measurement in viscous samples, the electrode needs to be repeatedly rinsed with pure water to remove the sample stuck on the glass membrane and the liquid junction, or use a suitable solvent to clean it, and then wash away the solvent with pure water.
4. Keep the electrode joint dry and clean, otherwise it will affect the measurement accuracy.
5. It is forbidden to plug and unplug the electrode with power on.
6. The electrode is a consumable. Due to different user usage and maintenance conditions, the service life will vary. When the reaction speed is slow and the measurement is unstable during the measurement process, it is recommended to replace the pH electrode.
