working principle
pH Analyzer TP110 Working Principle
pH analyzer TP111 is an online water quality monitor that uses a potentiometric analysis method. It is mainly composed of a measuring cell and a high-resistance millivoltmeter (or ion meter). The primary cell consists of a measuring electrode (indicator electrode), a reference electrode, and a measured liquid, which converts chemical quantities (ion activity) that are difficult to measure directly into electrical quantities (electromotive force of the measuring cell) that are easy to measure. The relationship between the electrode potential under non-standard conditions and the activity and temperature of ions in the solution is derived from the Nernst equation.
