- The DO continuous determination method is the diaphragm electrode method. The diaphragm is made of polytetrafluoroethylene fiber, polyethylene, etc., platinum is used as the positive electrode, aluminum and lead are used as the negative electrode, the two metal electrodes are immersed in the electrolyte solution, and the electrodes and the electrolyte solution are placed in a small chamber with an oxygen semipermeable membrane.
- Connect the current measurement circuit, and the molecular oxygen in the water diffuses through the diaphragm to the electrode surface, and an electrode reaction occurs. When the electrode parameters are constant and at a certain temperature, the stabilized diffusion current is proportional to the oxygen concentration in the water sample.
