Features

  • 01 It uses imported cold light source with excellent optical performance, no need for preheating, and a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours.
  • 02 The COD monitor uses a precision infrared quantitative system to achieve accurate quantification of trace reagents.
  • 03 The high temperature and high pressure digestion system accelerates the reaction process and overcomes the corrosion of equipment caused by the volatilization of corrosive gases in the open system.
  • 04 The instrument achieves accurate reagent metering through a visual photoelectric system, overcoming the quantitative error caused by wear of the peristaltic pump tube.
  • 05 At the same time, it realizes the precise quantification of trace reagents, greatly reducing the amount of reagents used.
  • 06 The peristaltic pump uses negative pressure to inhale, thus avoiding corrosion of the pump tube; reagent mixing is simpler and more flexible.
  • 07 The COD monitor uses imported modified polytetrafluoroethylene transparent hose with a diameter greater than 1.5mm to reduce the chance of blockage.
  • 08 Support RS232, RS485, 4-20mA data transmission.
  • 09 A variety of measurement modes (continuous sampling, periodic sampling) are available for customers to choose.
  • 10 Instrument cleaning waste liquid is separated from reaction waste liquid to facilitate waste liquid treatment.
  • 11 When the instrument is operating normally, there is no workload except adding reagents and standards.

working principle

Working principle of COD monitor TP1111

  • The mixed solution of water sample, potassium dichromate digestion solution, mercuric sulfate (mercuric sulfate can eliminate the interference of chloride ions in water samples, because chloride ions can form very stable mercuric chloride with mercury ions), and silver sulfate solution (silver sulfate added as a catalyst can more effectively oxidize straight-chain fatty compounds) is heated to 165°C. The color of the solution changes after dichromate ions oxidize the organic matter in the solution. The analyzer detects this color change and converts this change into COD value for output. The amount of dichromate ions consumed is equivalent to the amount of oxidizable organic matter.
  • COD monitor is an online water quality monitor, which complies with HJ/T399-2007 “Determination of Chemical Oxygen Demand of Water Quality” rapid digestion spectrophotometer.

  • Precautions
    1. When the COD monitor has obvious faults, users should not open it for repair by themselves, but contact the manufacturer in time.

    3. Some of the chemicals required by this equipment are corrosive substances. When handling these chemicals, certain precautions must be taken.
