The customer’s issues were as follows:
- The sensor at the position shown in the diagram was damaged and needed replacement
- The working pressure is 6 bar
- It must be installed inside a 3-inch stainless steel pipeline
- The equipment needs to support CIP cleaning at around 80°C
Generally, our dissolved oxygen sensors are designed for use under normal temperature and pressure conditions, with installation methods including flow-through, immersion, or flange types. Because the sensors are not pressure-resistant, pipeline installation is usually avoided, and testing is often done via pressure relief or flow-through chambers.
However, this customer had the special requirement of direct installation within a pipeline, combined with relatively high temperature and pressure conditions, which exceeded the scope of conventional product designs.
To address this, we recommended and custom-designed a high-temperature, high-pressure sensor that meets CIP cleaning requirements and withstands 6 bar pressure, while supporting installation in a 3-inch pipeline. This solution perfectly resolved the customer’s challenge.
This case deeply reinforced the importance of thoroughly understanding the customer’s actual operating conditions and flexibly adapting and customizing products to truly meet diverse application needs.
We look forward to helping more customers overcome challenges and achieve precise measurement and control in the future!
